The following companies have reactive chemical concrete stains also sometimes called acid stains. Reactive acid stains do not come in many colors. They give a semitransparent color which may be very good or very bad depending on your project. Acid stains give a mottled or varicolored effect which might also be called antiqued. Reactive chemical/acid stains are very durable and have a great future for those who learn how to use them. Study their information, you'll learn mucho.
If you want a uniform color, don’t use reactive chemical stains. If the property owner wants you to match a color don’t use reactive chemical stains.
Remember, if you apply a solvent based clear coat or wax on the reacted surface these colors will darken. Generally if you apply a water based clear coat these colors will not darken nearly as much.
